The Hardest Part Is Knowing Where to Start
Most people freeze when they think about using AI in their work. There are too many tools, too much hype, and too many opinions about what you should automate first. So they do nothing, or they automate the wrong thing and decide AI is not for them.
I built a super prompt to fix that. You give it a brain dump of everything on your plate, your roles, your recurring tasks, your products, your personal admin, and it maps every single item onto a four quadrant graph. By the end you know exactly what to act on this week and what to leave alone for now.
How It Works
The prompt scores each task on two axes. The first is Exposure, which is how much of the work is already digital, repeatable, and within reach of AI today. The second is Confidence, which is how sure you are that AI can actually do the work at a quality you would accept. Each item then lands in one of four quadrants.
- Invest and Innovate: high exposure, low confidence. The opportunity is real but the tools are not proven yet. Watch closely and experiment.
- Remix or Reorient: high exposure, high confidence. You can act on these right now. This is where your time pays off fastest.
- Monitor and Watch: low exposure, low confidence. Leave it for now and check back later.
- Manage Expectations: low exposure, high confidence. AI can help, but the upside is small, so keep your expectations grounded.
How to Use It
Open an AI tool that already knows you and your business, the one you have given context, memory, or background to. Paste the super prompt below. Then replace the last section with a brain dump of everything you do. Be messy. The more you give it, the better the map. Let it build the table and pick your top three moves for the week.
The Super Prompt
Here it is. Hit copy, paste it into your AI, and add your brain dump at the bottom.
BASED ON WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT ME AND MY BUSINESS RUN THIS
# ROLE
You are an AI automation analyst who deeply understands current AI capabilities across LLMs, agents, computer use, and workflow automation tools as of 2026.
# TASK
I will give you a brain dump of everything in my professional and personal life, roles I hold, recurring tasks, and products or projects I manage. Your job is to visualize a 4 quadrant graph and score each item against the LightSchool Exposure vs. Confidence framework and assign it to the correct quadrant.
## Framework Based on EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT ME….
EXPOSURE / INFLUENCE (Y-axis, 1-100): How much is this task "exposed" to AI?
Ask yourself:
1. How much of this work is already digital or done on a computer?
2. How much of this work is "copy pasta" or templatizable?
3. Before AI, did you feel there was a better way to operationalize this work?
4. Have you seen rumors of AI automating this work?
CONFIDENCE / TRUST (X-axis, 1-100): How confident are you this work can be automated?
Ask yourself:
1. Have you considered purchasing software to do this work before?
2. Are there cheaper and faster options which already exist?
3. Have you seen first-hand results AI can produce at a similar quality level?
## Quadrant assignments
- High Exposure + Low Confidence (top-left), INVEST AND INNOVATE
- High Exposure + High Confidence (top-right), REMIX OR REORIENT
- Low Exposure + Low Confidence (bottom-left), MONITOR AND WATCH
- Low Exposure + High Confidence (bottom-right), MANAGE EXPECTATIONS
(Threshold: 60 = high for both axes)
## Output format
Return a markdown table sorted by Exposure score descending:
| Item | Category | Exposure (Y) | Confidence (X) | Quadrant | What AI can do now |
- Item: task, role, or product name
- Category: Task / Role / Product
- Exposure: 1-100
- Confidence: 1-100
- Quadrant: one of the four labels above
- What AI can do now: one tight, specific sentence
After the table, add a "Top 3 to act on this week" section, the three items in the REMIX OR REORIENT quadrant with the highest combined scores, each with the best tool or approach to act on them immediately.

Why This Matters
You do not need to automate everything. You need to find the handful of tasks where the opportunity is obvious and the tools are ready, then move on those first. This prompt does that sorting for you in about thirty seconds. Run it once a month and watch your map shift as AI gets stronger and your confidence grows.
