Overview
These terms govern your participation in AI Day workshops ("the Workshop") organized by Light School and hosted at Wheelhouse, Lisbon, Portugal. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
Ticket Purchases
Tickets are sold through Luma (lu.ma). Each ticket grants admission for one person to one Workshop session. Maximum capacity is 24 attendees per session. Tickets are non-transferable without prior approval from Light School.
Refund Policy
If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please email team@lightschool.com. We will either:
- Issue a full refund of your ticket price, or
- Transfer your ticket to a future AI Day session
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you attend the full Workshop day, bring your personal computer, stay present with the Light School team and other students, and do not build at least one custom-made tool, website, or app, we will refund you the full ticket price. To claim this guarantee, email team@lightschool.com within 24 hours of attending.
Attendance Requirements
To participate fully in the Workshop, you must:
- Bring your own personal computer (MacBook or PC) with charger
- Have or be willing to purchase a Claude Pro subscription (approximately €20/month)
- Be willing to actively participate in hands-on building activities
Company-owned computers may have restrictions that prevent full participation. We strongly recommend bringing a personal device.
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of everything you create during the Workshop. Light School claims no rights to your projects, code, designs, or any other work product.
Workshop Content
Light School retains ownership of all teaching materials, frameworks, templates, and curriculum content presented during the Workshop. Attendees receive a license to use the Light School AI template library for personal and commercial purposes.
Photography and Video
The Workshop may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your likeness in Light School's marketing materials. If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please inform the staff at the beginning of the session.
Limitation of Liability
Light School provides the Workshop on an "as is" basis. While we strive to deliver a high-quality educational experience, we make no guarantees about specific outcomes beyond the satisfaction guarantee described above. Light School is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation.
Charitable Donation
10% of all ticket proceeds are donated to a variety of charities, including but not limited to The Lisbon Project, a charity supporting immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in Portugal.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in the Workshop shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
Changes to These Terms
Light School reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued ticket purchases after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
